A beginning course for new users that covers basic operations in detail. This course focuses on drawing production, element creation and editing, annotation, data input, and plotting.
For the experienced MicroStation user, this course focuses on the features of MicroStation designed to improve user productivity. Providing lecture, demonstration and hands-on exercises, Advanced MicroStation begins with a thorough examination of AccuDraw. An emphasis on work-saving techniques is used throughout the course, such as advanced referencing techniques and topics like different scales on the same drawing.
A comprehensive, three-day training class designed for managers of multi-user, MicroStation-based CAD installations. Focus is on the development of corporate cad standards, the integration of those standards into MicroStation, and the creation of custom workspaces to manage multiple project, organization, and user configurations over a network. Managers will learn how to build and maintain an efficient, flexible, and easily upgradeable MicroStation environment.
This course is for CAD users who want to transition to MicroStation. Parallel references are continually given, showing how MicroStation handles operations familiar to any CAD user.
Prerequisite : Proficiency with a major CAD product.
This course explores MicroStation's 3D capability in detail. Provides detailed coverage of the most popular concepts and tools in MicroStation's 3D environment, including 3D primitives, surfaces, and 3D view controls. Includes discussions of Drawing Composition and an introduction to MicroStation rendering, including lighting effects, camera setup and applying materials.
Prerequisite : Prior experience with Accudraw helps but is not necessary.
