ModelScale manages plot scale information on a model-by-model basis. User attribute data
is attached to each model and retrieved automatically as each model is opened. This scale data
can be accessed automatically by the ACS Menu Manager, the ACS Title Block Manager, or by your
own custom applications.
Users may select scales from an administered list or keyin a user-defined scale. Independent
scale lists are maintained for English and Metric units.
ModelScale Interface
In addition to applying and retrieving the plot scale, ModelScale includes a utility (ModelRef) for
composing drawings by assembling models from within the active file or external files. ModelRef compensates for
any differences in scale that may be present, thus eliminating any possible errors when manually
applying reference file scales.
